How it works.
Planning
Commissioning a custom piece of furniture is a great way to express your creative side.
Whether you know exactly what you want or you’d like to see what we dream up, we can make it happen.
We start with reference material, your budget, and what you’d like to achieve.
Once we determine the contours of the project we move on to design.
Design
With our design package, you receive three designs + three alterations to your favourite piece.
We create within the Kerfwork design philosophy. Nothing too busy, only the essential. Modern brutalism paired with soft curves and traditional woodworking techniques.
We charge a small fee for the design package, which will be subtracted from your total should you move on to the production phase.
Production
Before production begins you’ll receive a lead time based on the current production schedule and the complexity of your project.
With a deposit, your place in the production schedule will be secured.
On completion, we will contact you to confirm shipment or delivery.
